Director
Jamie represents the third generation of a family rooted in the art of sewing. From early days spent on his father’s market stall selling curtains in the North of England, he developed a genuine passion for the craft and the customer experience that comes with it.
After building over two decades of experience in design, manufacture and installation, Jamie went on to operate at the highest level of the industry, managing large-scale projects across London, Europe and the Middle East. Working alongside leading interior designers, he specialised in luxury, fully automated window treatments for high-end clients.
In 2023, Jamie returned to his roots to establish James David Interiors, bringing together heritage, expertise and a commitment to exceptional service. His passion lies in delivering beautifully considered interiors that genuinely enhance the homes they belong to.
Donna Schofield
Senior Designer & Project Manager
Donna brings decades of experience and a refined design eye to every project. Beginning her career in 1997, she quickly established herself within a respected family-run interiors business, earning a reputation for both her creativity and her ability to manage client relationships with ease.
Over the years, Donna has developed an extensive knowledge of fabrics, finishes and interior styling, working across a wide range of residential projects. Her attention to detail and understanding of space allow her to create interiors that feel both elegant and practical.
With a natural passion for colour, pattern and soft furnishings, Donna works closely with each client to understand their lifestyle and vision. The result is a thoughtfully curated space that feels cohesive, personal and effortlessly beautiful.
Jo Bell - Director
Director
Jo’s career has always been defined by a passion for quality, presentation and customer experience. With a background in retail spanning over two decades, she successfully owned and managed her own specialist business, building a loyal customer base through her knowledge and attention to detail.
Transitioning into the interiors industry, Jo went on to play a key role within a leading UK manufacturer of handmade blinds and curtains. Her responsibilities covered production oversight, sales management and purchasing, giving her a comprehensive understanding of both the creative and operational sides of the business.
At James David Interiors, Jo ensures that every project is delivered with precision, care and a consistently high standard. Her focus on service and detail underpins the company ethos, helping to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for every client.
Marlow Bell
PR & Company Hound
Marlow is an integral part of the team, bringing personality, charm and a strong presence to the studio. While still learning the finer details of the trade, he plays an important role in maintaining morale and welcoming visitors.
Known for his love of comfort, particularly when it comes to cushions, Marlow takes a keen interest in the finished product and ensures every piece meets his exacting standards. His friendly nature and calm demeanour make him a favourite among clients and visitors alike.
